Doggy Day Out is a Redsteps owned and manged event that travels to different locations in Victoria.

The first Doggy Day Out took place in November 2018 in Chelsea, featuring dog themed market stalls, food trucks, demonstrations and competitions. Over 1200 people came along with their dogs which was a fantastic result for this first time event. Doggy Day Out Chelsea was sponsored by real estate agency, Eview Group Chelsea, who wanted an event where they could connect with locals and increase brand awareness.

Doggy Day Out also came to Pakenham in November 2018, attracting over 1500 people from Pakenham and it’s surrounding suburbs. Doggy Day Out Pakenham proudly supported Headspace Narre Warren who hosted a meditation zone at the event to raise funds for their mental health services. As a result of Redsteps’ press releases, Doggy Day Out Pakenham was listed in the Pakenham Gazette’s ‘Weekend what’s on’ prior to the event and was featured in an article in the entertainment section.

In April 2019, Doggy Day Out took place in Warragul. This event ran similarly to previous Doggy Day Out events, with additional attractions such as live music, a bar and the ‘Dog Splash and Play Zone’. This event proudly supported the Warragul CFA who had recently been involved in fighting the devastating Bunyip State Park fires. Doggy Day Out Warragul was promoted online and featured on the Australian Dog Lover website as a result of Redsteps’ press releases.

Doggy Day Out has teamed up with Kong who provide free dog toys and show bags for the attendants at each of these events.

Redsteps organise and manage each event, as well as manage the Doggy Day Out brand’s Facebook, Instagram and website. Doggy Day Out’s digital platforms are used to promote upcoming events through competitions, regular posts and relatable content.
