Father’s Day Mug Decorating @ CSM

Central South Morang are a shopping centre with 15+ retailers located in South Morang. Since 2015 Redsteps have been managing their marketing, including social media, website maintenance, digital advertising, in-centre promotions, activations, competitions and more.

A week before Father’s Day in 2018, Redsteps ran a mug decorating event for kids in the centre’s foyer. The event was promoted on social media, on posters in the centre and on the centre’s website in the weeks prior to the event. Parents booked their children into their free session via an online ticketing page managed by Redsteps. At the event, kids could sit and colour in mugs for their father and fill up the mug with lollies and chocolates.

The event was booked out days in advance and proved to be a huge success in bringing new families to the shopping centre.

Redsteps run a series of events and activations at Central South Morang throughout the year to increase awareness of the convenient shopping centre and to increase retailer’s sales.
